by D. Gary Young
Translated into Japanese
This book by Gary Young promises to be a landmark work in providing meaningful, research-based information on how to use essential oils for better health, directed to the general public. Published in March 2003, this book was written for health professionals and the general public as an extensive reference for the therapeutic use of pure essential oils.
It is not the same book as the EODR, published by ESP since 1999. Despite some similarities this book focuses strictly on essential oils and blends, does not discuss specific Young Living products, and provides scores of references to scientific research supporting the use of essential oils in medical applications. Its chapter on blends includes 25 recipes for mixing your own. It also includes:
--Expanded information about Dr. Young's worldwide travels with many never-before-seen photographs from his personal collection
--A detailed application chapter that provides very detailed instructions for the amount of oil and frequency of use, integrated into 18 different application methods.
--Definitive instructions on Dr. Young's amazing Raindrop Technique
--Thirteen appendixes, including a glossary of medical actions, alphabetical listing for both common and botanical names, biochemical charts and distillation charts.
The Essential Oils Integrative Medical Guide is a cutting-edge reference work you will surely want to add to your home library.
